Coronavirus Disinfecting Services

Virus contamination can stem from various sources, including human activity, animal infestation, and other environmental factors. Human-to-human transmission through bodily fluids, respiratory droplets, and contaminated surfaces is a common cause, particularly in densely populated areas or during outbreaks of infectious diseases.

Poor sanitation, inadequate ventilation, and insufficient cleaning practices exacerbate the spread of viruses. For homeowners and businesses, virus contamination can lead to severe health risks, including the spread of illnesses and infections. Additionally, it can result in significant disruptions, such as temporary closures, financial losses, and the need for extensive and costly decontamination efforts. Ensuring proper hygiene, regular cleaning, and in severe cases, prompt professional intervention in case of contamination is crucial to mitigate these risks.

Indoor Disinfection

To disinfect indoor areas from viruses and bacteria at home, start by wearing disposable gloves and a mask. Clean surfaces with soap and water to remove dirt, then apply an EPA-approved disinfectant, focusing on high-touch areas like doorknobs, light switches, and countertops.

For soft surfaces such as carpets and upholstery, use appropriate cleaners and consider steam cleaning. Wash fabrics like bedding and curtains at high temperatures, and handle waste properly by disposing of gloves and masks in a lined trash bin. Improve ventilation by opening windows and using air purifiers with HEPA filters. Finally, regularly disinfect high-touch areas and practice good hygiene, such as frequent handwashing and covering coughs and sneezes.

Strict safety protocols, including personal protective equipment (PPE), ensure effective virus eradication and prevent cross-contamination, thereby reducing the risk of transmission.

Norovirus Disinfecting Services

If your home or business has come into contact with Norovirus, ITS Environmental Services can help you assess the situation and eliminate the hazard. Norovirus disinfection is essential for any environments that may have been exposed, particularly in areas like kitchens and bathrooms. EPA-approved disinfectants effective against norovirus, and rigorous cleaning protocols must be applied to all surfaces, especially those contaminated with vomit or feces. Enhanced safety measures, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) such as gloves, masks, and gowns, are necessary to prevent cross-contamination and ensure thorough virus eradication, significantly reducing the risk of transmission.

Commercial Disinfecting Services

At ITS Environmental Services, our professional and industrial cleaning service follows a comprehensive, systematic approach to disinfect and eradicate viruses from homes and businesses. We specialize in disinfecting for infectious diseases including Coronavirus COVID-19, Monkeypox, MRSA, C-Diff, Norovirus and more.

1

Initial Assessment

We begin by conducting a thorough assessment of the property to identify the areas affected by viral contamination and determine the extent of the contamination.

2

Containment

To prevent the spread of viruses to unaffected areas, we isolate and contain the contaminated zones. This step ensures that the cleaning process is controlled and efficient.

3

Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)

Our technicians are equipped with full "Level C" PPE, including splash resistant coveralls, shoe covers, double gloves, and a full-face Air Purifying Respirator (APR) or Powered Air Purifying Respirator (PAPR), to ensure their safety and prevent cross-contamination during the cleaning process.

4

Removal of Contaminated Materials

We carefully remove any items that cannot be disinfected, such as porous materials or severely contaminated objects, and dispose of them according to biohazard waste disposal regulations.

5

Cleaning Surfaces

Using industry-approved cleaning agents, we thoroughly clean all surfaces to remove dirt, grime, and organic matter that can harbor viruses. This step is crucial for the effectiveness of the disinfection process.

6

Disinfection

We apply EPA-registered disinfectants that are proven to be effective against viruses. Our technicians meticulously disinfect all surfaces, including high-touch areas such as doorknobs, light switches, and countertops, ensuring complete eradication of viral pathogens.

7

Specialized Equipment

For areas requiring additional attention, we utilize advanced cleaning technologies, such as Ultra Low Volume (ULV) misting or electrostatic sprayers and foggers, using hospital-grade disinfectant to ensure comprehensive coverage and penetration of disinfectants. Positively charged ions are produced within the chemical which adhere to surfaces. This ensures total coverage of the affected area for wiping and disruption of any biofilm.

8

Air Filtration

If necessary, we employ air filtration systems, such as HEPA filters, to remove airborne contaminants and improve indoor air quality.

9

Final Inspection

After disinfection, we conduct a final inspection to ensure that all areas have been thoroughly cleaned and disinfected. This step guarantees that the property is safe and virus-free.

10

Documentation and Reporting

We provide detailed documentation of the cleaning and disinfection process, including the products used and the areas treated. This documentation is essential for compliance and provides peace of mind to property owners.

Cleaning Ladies

WOW WOW WOW. Words cannot express how satisfied I am with ITS. From the beginning, I had been in contact with Doug (owner/president). He was kind, courteous and more than accommodating. On short notice he was able to get some of his staff to come disinfect two, two story homes in relation to COVID. (even threw in and did the basement! ) When they arrived (early!) one of the ladies introduced herself, I did a walk through and explained everything so thoroughly. I love that they use botanical/green products and even smells like spice once its done! I feel very blessed to have found them and would DEFINITELY recommend Doug and his services for any need.
